Is QCFindNow free?

Yes! Using QCFindNow.com searching services are 100% Free. It’s also Free for restaurant owners to get their place of business listed with us. The only costs are upgradable services we provide for listing owners.  

Do I need to sign up for an account to use QCFindNow’s Services?

Only reason to have to sign up for an account and login is if you are a Business Owner wanting to add or edit a listing. Otherwise all searching and review services are free and available to anyone without a need of an account setup or login.  

Why Use QCFindNow?

There has to have been a time you’ve craved something but had no idea where to go for it. Trying to find the perfect spot to eat isn’t always the simplest task. Let us and our reviewers help you out! As for owners QCFindNow will provide you an online source of free advertising and help get your name out there through the new age of the Web-World-Word-of-Mouth!

Can business owners contact me after I review their business?

Absolutely, simply type in your email address if this is the case that you would like to be contacted. This will indicate to the owner that you would like to be contacted otherwise when filling out the review leave email blank. However, the owner has the right to add a review comment in reply to anything you’ve written.

Will QCFindNow.com remove bad reviews if a business is a paid member?

Absolutely not. Reviews good or bad are to help benefit both the consumer and owner.
Please do not be surprised if you see an occasional negative review. We realize that upset customers are a normal part of doing business but please look at the big picture and see the importance of what the majority of your customers are saying. If you’re business is doing well your customers will respond well to that factor!

What makes a great review?

QCFindNow.com’s reviews are useful because people take the time to share thoughtful insights on local restaurants and dinners. Also helping people out in letting know what to order too next time they stop by a specific place to eat. Great chance to get adventurous and to try out something new!
The best reviews are personal and offer helpful suggestions or tips to the place on what they could work on or letting them know what makes them so great! Make sure to list the unique qualities that make this business shine or list the kind of person that may enjoy such a place.

Can I review a place if I work there?

We prefer not especially if you are the owner. However, we always like to know what the most popular dishes are so if you do write anything make sure it’s in a helpful manner!

If I had a bad experience can I say something negative?

Of course, we want people to know the good and the bad however make sure to make it relevant and factual. There could be legal ramifications for any false given information!

Does QCFindNow ever remove reviews?

In some cases a review will be removed if it doesn't follow these guidelines:

• If the experience you had was not yours. You can’t place a review about what you hear from another person stating what happened to them.
• Hateful comments and personal attacks. We understand there can be much frustration but please keep in mind these are real people you are reviewing…don’t say anything to be mean and spiteful. Remember the goal is the help try to better the place with suggestions not tear them down.
• Make sure there is relevance to your review. Don’t get side-tracked and discuss anything political or statements on how they should run the place.
• Please use your own words to make reviews…be as creative as possible…you can even make a funny!
• Blank or one or two worded reviews. There’s no reason to be shy, let people know why there’s this great place to eat or why you’re experience wasn’t up to par.

We are very serious about your privacy. Any information given to us is used strictly for this website use only and will never be sold or abused.

Own or Manage a Place

Is listing Free?

Yes, basic membership to post your business is 100% Free. When signing on for a basic Membership you will be given a 14 day trial of a Premium Membership Account to be able to access your listing to make edits or changes. Once that trial period is up you will no longer be able to access the listing to make edits unless you pay for a Premium Membership option. However, the listing will still be posted unless we are told otherwise to have it removed.

You then several option to sign up giving you different payment options to best fit your listing needs: one month access only, recurring monthly access or full access for the entire year. It’s up to you to determine how often you may need to make changes.

Why am I already Listed and I do not have an Account or Membership?

Well most likely you should feel flattered. This most likely means there was someone out there that suggested you to be posted. If this is the case we will go in and make up a listing ourselves with as much of the information we know and are about to find out about you.

Can I take over an existing listing if I am the owner?

Absolutely, we would love for you to. Just email us and let us know this is your place of business after signing up for a free account! Once you are signed up then we can easily transfer the listing keys over to you to make edits to make it your own. Again you will have the 14 free days to be able to do so.

What if there is something that needs to be changed after the 14 days are up?

This is why we have chosen to give you 14 days of free access to your account. We believe that this is plenty of time to get your listing setup and edited to what you want. We cannot be responsible for any type of changes needed after this point. This is why we have given you these different payment options to choose from and suggest for minor changes to pay for a 1 week only option.

Why should I use QCFindNow.com to list my business?

First off it’s FREE! There are few places that give you full access to setup and publish your place online for FREE!

Membership

What are my membership options?

There is Basic Membership which is Free and then Premium Membership for a fee. Basic Membership starts out with 14 days of a free trial of Premium Membership access. However, once that trial period is up you are automatically placed as a Basic Member…you will not longer have full access to edit your listings.
Premium Membership you will have full access to your listing to make as many changes as needed to keep your online listing update and informative to all potential customers.

Local Business Photos

What kind of photos should I attach to business listings?

Photos should be broadly representative of the business and not an extension of your review. Think about how best to capture the general public's first impression of the business. On rare occasions, we remove content that doesn't follow these guidelines:

• Irrelevance. Photos of the interior and exterior of a business are great, but close-ups of you and your friends are better uploaded to your account profile.
• Malicious captions. Feel free to describe your photo, but your review is the best place to express your opinion.
