I went to the shelter yesterday and visited the remaining two of my foster litter of six, Jem & Atticus. I dropped off some of their favorite toys: jingle balls, hair scrunchies and tiny draw-string bags.

Jem laid in my lap and purred while Atticus rested his paws on my shoulder, purred and sniffed my hair.

Jem has blue eyes and a lovely striped tan coat. Atticus has greenish eyes, with soft, long, carrot-orange/white striped hair.

They, along with their mom and four siblings, grew up in foster care with me, an extremely hyperactive Border Collie, two adult female cats and had regular exposure to other people and kids.

You couldn’t ask for more tolerant, affectionate and socialized kittens.

Pookie is so pretty and soft! This sweet girl loves to play. She would do well in a home with other cats and dogs after a slow introduction.

Pookie is on CD prescription food. You can purchase it for cost through us.

Thank you, Jonna, for this great picture of her!

Want to meet her?

Our Adoption & Education Center is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 5:00 pm, with extended hours on Wednesday until 6:00 pm, and closed on Sunday.
